Hi, and welcome to my site. As I am sure you have guessed, my name is Christopher Ward. I grew up in Winnipeg, Canada, but have lived in Minneapolis for over 10 years now. Most people have difficulty picking up the remnants of my Canadian accent and I very rarely say “eh!” any more.
I have traveled across all the Canadian Provinces, and over half of the United States. I have also been to England, France, Spain, Indonesia, India, and Nepal. I always take a camera wherever I go to capture everything from landscapes to portraits, and everything in between.
I am a Minneapolis based wedding and portrait photographer. At least that’s my by line. That’s what you will see highlighted on this site, but it is not the only photography I do. I love to take pictures of landscapes, animals, sports, dancers and kids. You will see examples of those sprinkled around too. Mostly in the Other section. I have shot weddings in several states, and would be happy to travel to your destination. I have taken pictures at events such as gymnastics competitions as well. I think I am pretty versatile.
Most likely if you have landed here, you are probably interested in my wedding or portrait work. I work hard to ensure that a full day of wedding photography, or a couple of hours in a portrait session exceeds your expectations. I understand that photography prices can bring sticker shock to some, but I promise I will strive to bring you great value for your money. I want every client to be extremely happy that they included me in their special day, or trusted me to take their portrait.
